I thought I might write to the BLOG today. Usually, I go back to read the last entry when I get around to posting an update. I was a little shocked to see that it had been a month since I wrote anything. Some of you hear my stories every day, but I know others check frequently as I do on other sites only to find last month's mutterings.  So, what have we been up to?  Well, Oprah's people have yet to call my people.  I am still hoping for some response, and, I thank ALL of you who took the time to write an email.   I'll keep you posted.

Gina finally won that basketball game!!!  At the end, she went running into Jeff's arms, and they just jumped up and down and hugged. The lump in my throat returned, but this time, it was all good. Funny thing about tears, they can show up for so many reasons. The other day, Joey said to me, "Mommy, I love you so much, sometimes I just cry!" I know exactly how he feels....those tears come so easily. But recently, I was crying from laughing so hard. I've told this story a few times since, but for those we don't see us often, I have to record it here. Joey came up to me and sat on my lap a week or so ago. He put his arms around me and said, "Ooooo, Mommy! Is it hot in here, or is it just you?" I laughed so hard, the tears flowed, and Joey got an idea. The next thing I know, he's in the kitchen saying, "Hey Daddy, is it stupid in here, or is it just you?" Now, this may sound blatantly disrespectful, but he said it with such a mischievous grin, that all three of us laughed! Leave it to Bond to keep us guessing.

Today, we are going on a new adventure. Gina has taken up roller skating, and Joey wants to try it. The local rink has an open lesson time that you can just go to as you wish. So, we are going to give it a try. Other than that, not too many plans for once. Love that...just hanging out with no place to be. Praise God for our boring, busy, mundane life. Sometimes, the most exciting day can be one where nothing is going on. And, I remain thankful for each one we get.

Love to all of you................................

Love,   Laura  Jeff  Gina  and  Joey
