My night home tonight. I was with Joey since around noon yesterday and arrived at home 7:00 this evening. He is doing well today. He was able to play his video games and a few rounds of action figures with mom today. The cookie volunteer came in and made cookies. And, he enjoyed visits from Grandma and Grandpa Tubo, Aunt Lori, Aunt Lisa and cousin Nicky. He ate well too. Aunt Lori brought pizza in which stayed down. Daddy showed up with mac-n-cheese which was also a hit. Mom made a tent in his bed---he thought that was cool. So, not a bad day today--but, the night is young. We know this round has a delayed affect of the severe nausea. We think we are in the calm before the storm. We were able also to meet with Dr. Patton today. We learned that there are no new areas of disease evident on the MIBG scan. That scan will be correlated with the CT and discussed next week with the surgeons. We will then have a better idea as to the proposed surgery date. Thanks for checking in on us. We send love out to everyone.
