Just a quick note to fill you all in on the week. Joey is doing well, but looking a little tired. Not sure if it is the decreasing blood counts, or his busy day today. It is probably a little of both. Joey's twin cousins, Matthew and Michael, came to play at the house today. The evidence of the fun day was all over the place when I got home--but, for a good cause. The Three Musketeers had a blast. And, it is great for Joey to be playing with other kids. With his counts on the downslide, we have to keep him somewhat isolated from crowds, etc., due to his low immunities. He should be climbing back up by next week, though. Still, no matter how tired he is, he never lets me tuck him in unless we do prayers. Last night, he slept with the 3 foot Chuck E. doll. And, during prayers, he said that Chuck E. wanted to pray for Grampa Gilbo. I just thought that was so cute. No worries to the rest of you, Joey included EVERYONE. The nightly ritual can be lengthly, but so worth it. He'll keep praying for all of you, just so you all keep praying for him, ok? Love to all. I am off to Chicago on Thursday. Can't wait!!
