We went to the acquarium yesterday. Joey said, "I'm not even scared of the sharks!" A new otter exhibit opened. We all had a nice time. Later, we came back to the hotel and played action figures and watched part of a movie before Joey finally surrendered to sleep. Today was not so fun, but just as eventful. Joey had a bone scan, a CT scan and a blood draw. No results yet. Tomorrow we have a kidney function test, dental exam and a few consults. The following day we will study the heart with EKG and ECHO. All of this leads up to identifying complications in the transplant. All the tests will be used as baseline gages for changes following the chemo. Next week should be low key with regard to the hospital schedule. I am trying to plan a few fun things for Joey before then. Jeff will come for the weekend. My sister leaves tomorrow and my Mom and Bob arrive today. Quite a schedule....but, that's what we are here for. Thanks for keeping tabs on us. Love to all.
