: We are in a holding pattern, sort of. Joey looks great, feels good, and continues to run around this small room. His ANC did not skyrocket today as hoped, but it only dipped slightly. He is at 280. What this means is a long story, but suffice to say that he once again has other blood factors which should raise the ANC where needed to get out of here. He has bands, segs and monocytes. Til then, we wait. I was established with the home care company today, so someone must think we're getting out soon. As for home, that too was a little misleading. We will be there around Day +40, we are currently at Day +22. All in all, everyone continues to be surprised at how well he is doing. But, not me, he surprises people everywhere he goes. We must pray for no fever when we get out of here--that could set us back a bit. I must get home to help Gina with her first grade homework. Jeff had to scan it last night and email it to me for assistance. Yeah--that's right. Those picture graphs can be pretty tough!! He's really trying....he even signed up for a field trip. I hope he and Gina continue to get A's on their papers!!

Laura,
I read your updates every day. I am so in awe of your abundant faith. I pray for Joey daily. I hope Joey continues to improve. I am totally amazed at your sense of humor. I love the picture graph story. I feel as though I know you from all your personal comments. I am looking forward to seeing the whole family in church again soon(and to hearing your beautiful voice join in the choir again). Until then, your family remains in my prayers. Love to all.
