: JOY TO THE WORLD!!! Tis the season to celebrate--and, MAN ARE WE CELEBRATING!!!! Joey's bone scan shows no evidence of disease. The skull and every other part of his body are clean! He and I were dancing around the living room to Joy to the World when we got the call. How appropriate. I feel numb at the news...really numb. It is hard to let myself celebrate, but I think I'll get by that feeling. Joey has been begging to go out in the snow all day long. I am going to suit him up when Daddy gets home for a little male bonding. The other day, he and I had a snow ball fight on the back deck. Ever since Elf, that is all he wants to do. He kept looking out the window today and saying, "Mommy, I see a little grass! I think the snow is going away! We have to get out there!" I just kept trying to explain to him that the snow is here to stay for a VERY LONG TIME! Something about that first snow...the kids just have so much excitement. The adults just have so much dread! I am happy about one thing....I am happy to be home and not at work today! Hang in there my claims friends--I will soon be rejoining all the fun! We have until April to deal with snow storms. And, today, I feel like we have until forever to let Joey play in them. Praise God--I am just going to believe that he is healed forever. I must do that. Believe, believe, believe!
