: One thing is for sure, when you go through something like this, you get a lot of T-shirts. I have a collection from various fund raisers, cancer walks, etc. And, I mention this to caution parents like me to choose wisely when going out in public. Things have been almost normal lately, so I can't blame it on anything but my own carelessness. But, tonight, my sister had the great suggestion that we meet at the YMCA to walk the track for an hour. I thought it sounded like a better use of my sweat pants than making room for more food, so I went for it. The unfortunate wardrobe malfunction became obvious to me on the way there. I just grabbed one of my 5000 T-shirts and went out the door. Unfortunately, I then found myself walking the track in my Red Cross T-shirt. I came by it honestly by giving blood this past year. I'm not sure that makes up for the fact that I walked the track with bold black letters on my back that read, "ARE YOU MY TYPE?" Not surprisingly, I didn't get propositioned except for the guy who walked by with a T-shirt on his back that read, "SEE YOU AT THE GAME!" This just drives home my point, doesn't it? Obviously, I am a little punchy tonight. Joey is still going strong, so I am using all of you to keep me going. I see no early bedtime in sight. His energy seems to be increasing each day. It still surprises me each day. When will I just BELIEVE? Someone I know described our state of mind as cautious optimism. I pray I get past that---each good day brings me more hope of that. And, today, I can joyously report that our State of the Union is solid, happy and healthy. Off to see if the President can say that tonight. What do you think?
